Toomai Jr. is the kid of a poor elephant herder named Toomai. This small kid when he became old enough, was thought by his father how to herd elephants. After a few years of learning, Toomai finally learned to be better than his father at herding. Toomai Jr. even though an elephant how to pick him up and protect him. One night the boy hears his elephant beaking his bonds and leaving. So he tells the beast to pick him up and take him with him. The elephant takes Toomai to the elephant's meeting place.
After the discovery of the meeting place, Toomai Jr. watches how hundreds of elephants dance together in one big clearing. After the dance, the boy's elephant takes him back to the camp where the kid tells everyone about his experience. His fellow herdsmen believe him so they throw a party to celebrate Toomai. After making merry they dub the Indian, Toomai of The Elephants.
